St. Angela’s Mattapan and St. Matthew’s Dorchester form both together an energetic multi-ethnic Catholic faith community, but with their uniquely individual history and identity. They are two adjacent parishes of the Archdiocese of Boston – on each side of Morton Street, both under the leadership of Rev. Father William P Joy.
