BOSTON BLACK CATHOLIC REVIVAL for 2012 by The Archdiocese of Boston’s Office for Black Catholics – takes place this year at St. Katharine Drexel in Dorchester and at St. Angela Merici in Mattapan from Friday, October 19 at 7PM until Sunday, October 21. The theme for 2012 is
“Stand for Christ“.
Our revivalist is Reverend Oscar Pratt. Purpose:
“Busy people need to stop and take time to refresh themselves spiritually.“
Music by St. Angela’s Choir with Music Director Mr. Jim Rickert, St. Mary of the Angels’ Choir with Music Director Mr. John Rood, Confirmation with Music Director Mr. David Coleman. The greeters for Friday night at St. Katharine’s Dorchester are the Knights of Peter Claver Ladies Auxiliary and Associates of the Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament. The greeters for Saturday at St. Angela’s Mattapan are the Youth Ministry members of St. Angela’s Parish: ‘The Young Professionals’ and ‘Echo Des Jeunes’. The leader of Worship & Songs is Pierre Monette.
